Day 307

Last Friday Holly and I went to see Mysteries of the Great Lakes on IMAX. If you haven't seen it--and it's in your area--I recommend it. As Holly said, if you're from (or have ever lived in) the Great Lakes area, it kind of makes you homesick--even if you're already home.

It's really fascinating and reminds us why things like keeping Asian carp out of the lakes is important--without beating you in the head with propoganda.

After the show (and after getting politely kicked out by a theater worker), we went up into the viewing gallery. Where we saw the room! of! IMAX!!!

I've never seen this room before. I love how sleek and futuristic and storm troopery these machines look.

I also got a shot of the rare and elusive film loader guy. He's blurry because he in the process of vanishing, poor fellow.

Actually, he looked resigned. This clearly happens to him all the time. The perils of being kept in captivity when you should be roaming the film plains, free and wild.
