Day 257

I decided to stop at Cindy and Jason's for the night on my way home. I needed to sleep and I wasn't going to reach the rental car place before they closed anyway. Plus I did not want to try navigating lake effect snow in the dark.

Lake effect snow was exactly what I hit on the way to their house. Lots of it. And there weren't a lot of people out braving the roads. In fact, at one point I was utterly alone on the highway--no one else as far as the eye could see on either side, behind or before. It was both unnerving and fairly cool.

So I took a picture.
