I found a pinecone on the ground.
A very sandy, dirty pinecone.
I needed a picture and it didn't seem to mind modeling.
And then I put it back in the gutter from whence it came.
I'm like a flora photojournalist. "Behold, the plight of the common pinecone! Here it lies, dirty and torn, bereft of its health! Won't someone think of the pinecones?!" I bring it to your attention...and then I move on.
Because non-interference is the photojournalist's prime directive.
